Job Description
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all functional issues related to in-house ERP system.
• Troubleshoot complex system errors, data inconsistencies, and user errors; perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Manage the ticketing system, prioritizing issues based on business impact and ensuring SLAs are met.
• Conduct training sessions and create documentation to empower end-users and promote self-service.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization within the existing systems to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
• Cooperate internal project teams for the rollout of new ERP modules, upgrades, or system integrations.
• Act as the Product Owner or key liaison between internal stakeholders and external implementation partners/vendors.
• Translate business requirements (from Sales, Purchasing, Warehousing, Finance, etc.) into detailed functional specifications and user stories for vendors.
• Manage vendor relationships, ensuring deliverables are met on time, within budget, and aligned with company standards.
• Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinate test scripts, and manage the change management process to ensure smooth adoption of new features.
• Collaborate with department heads to map current processes and design future-state workflows leveraging Odoo and Dynamics BC capabilities.
• Ensure master data integrity (items, BOMs, customers, vendors, chart of accounts) across both ERP systems.
• Generate complex reports and dashboards to provide management with insights into operational performance.
Job Specification
• 3+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst, ERP Consultant, or Business Analyst, specifically working with ERP systems.
• Strong grasp of core ERP concepts, including MRP (Material Requirements Planning), financial accounting principles (debits/credits, GL integration), supply chain logistics, and inventory valuation methods (FIFO, Average, Standard).
• Ability to understand and handle basic data schemas with proficiency in spread sheet.
• Proven experience working with external consultancies and vendors, specifically in a “client-side” oversight role during implementation projects.
• General experience with Odoo and/or Dynamics BC.
• Familiarity with Odoo configurations and/or the ability to configure Dynamic BC (no-code/low-code modifications).
• Certifications in Odoo or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Experience in a specific industry (e.g., Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail).
• You don’t just report errors; you find solutions.
• You can speak “Finance” to the CFO and “Tech” to the developer, bridging the gap effectively.
• Ability to manage daily support tickets while driving long-term project milestones simultaneously.
• Keeps up to date with the latest features released by Odoo and Microsoft.
