Job Description

• Bare Metal & Virtualization: Manage and scale our physical server fleet. Implement and maintain virtualization layers using Hyper-V.

• Infrastructure Automation: Use tools like Ansible to automate the configuration of on-premises OS (Debian/Ubuntu/RHEL) and networking equipment.

• Hybrid Cloud Bridge: Manage development of cloud environments (Huawei Cloud/Digital Ocean) specifically for development and testing, ensuring seamless parity between cloud “sandboxes” and on-premises production.

• On-Prem Kubernetes: Deploy and maintain production-grade Kubernetes clusters on bare metal or VMs.

• Storage Management: Maintain and administer on-premises S2D HCI storage system.

• Production Server Application Setups: Setup and maintenance of reverse web proxy. databases, key-value stores and object storage such as nginx, PostgreSQL, Apache Kafka, Redis, Minio and financial ledger databases.

• Local CI/CD: Maintain on-premises build runners and artifact repositories.

Job Specification

• Virtualization Expert: 3+ years of experience managing hypervisors and virtualized networking in a data center environment.

• Linux Mastery: Deep expertise in Linux systems administration (Kernel tuning, system, storage stacks).

• Containerization: Proven experience running Docker and Kubernetes in a non-managed (non-EXS/GKE) environment.

• Networking: Understanding physical networking, including VLANs, VPNs, Firewalls (Fertigate), and Load Balancers (Forti ADC/HAP Roxy).
