Implement and maintain virtualization layers using Hyper-V.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Infrastructure Automation: Use tools like Ansible to automate the configuration of on-premises OS (Debian\/Ubuntu\/RHEL) and networking equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Hybrid Cloud Bridge: Manage development of cloud environments (Huawei Cloud\/Digital Ocean) specifically for development and testing, ensuring seamless parity between cloud &#8220;sandboxes&#8221; and on-premises production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 On-Prem Kubernetes: Deploy and maintain production-grade Kubernetes clusters on bare metal or VMs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Storage Management: Maintain and administer on-premises S2D HCI storage system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Production Server Application Setups: Setup and maintenance of reverse web proxy. databases, key-value stores and object storage such as nginx, PostgreSQL, Apache Kafka, Redis, Minio and financial ledger databases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Local CI\/CD: Maintain on-premises build runners and artifact repositories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Job <strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>Specification<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Virtualization Expert: 3+ years of experience managing hypervisors and virtualized networking in a data center environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Linux Mastery: Deep expertise in Linux systems administration (Kernel tuning, system, storage stacks).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Containerization: Proven experience running Docker and Kubernetes in a non-managed (non-EXS\/GKE) environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Networking: Understanding physical networking, including VLANs, VPNs, Firewalls (Fertigate), and Load Balancers (Forti ADC\/HAP Roxy).<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Description \u2022 Bare Metal &amp; Virtualization: Manage and scale our physical server fleet.
