\u2022 Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting or LCCI (III) accounting qualifications are preferred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 At least 2 – 3 years of relevant experience in General Accounting, preferably in a group of companies, trading, manufacturing, retail or service business environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Strong understanding of accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping, general ledger, journal entries, AP\/AR, bank reconciliation, accruals, prepayments and financial reporting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Good understanding of Myanmar accounting and tax requirements, statutory documentation and financial compliance procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and accounting software\/ERP systems; strong Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools are preferred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze financial information, identify discrepancies, perform reconciliations and resolve accounting issues accurately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Responsible, trustworthy, organized, detail-oriented and able to maintain confidentiality, meet deadlines and work effectively with cross-functional teams under pressure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Manage daily accounting transactions, journal entries, general ledger postings and ensure all financial records are complete and accurate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Record and monitor accounts payable and receivable transactions, verify invoices, follow up on outstanding balances and ensure timely payment and collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Perform regular bank, cash, supplier, customer and other balance reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including account adjustments, accruals, prepayments, depreciation and preparation of supporting schedules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Prepare monthly financial reports, trial balances, account schedules, and other management reports in accordance with company requirements and reporting deadlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Prepare and maintain tax-related documents, support tax calculations and submissions and ensure accounting records comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Maintain proper financial documentation and filing systems and provide necessary schedules and supporting documents for internal and external audits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
