Job Description
• Supervise daily QC testing (raw materials, in-process, and finished products).
• Conduct and coordinate R&D trials for new formulations or process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain QC documentation, records, and reports.
• Lead and train QC and R&D staff on protocols, testing methods, and innovations.
• Collaborate with production, packaging, and procurement teams for process optimization.
• Oversee quality control operations and support R&D activities for new and existing fruit while leading a team to implement testing.
Job Specification
• Diploma/BSc in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, or BE in Food/Chemical/Industrial Engineering.
• 2-5 years in QC and/or R&D in food processing or FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, testing methods, and product development.
• Leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Supervises: QC Analysts, R&D assistants, lab technicians.
• KPIs: Product quality compliance, testing accuracy, successful R&D trials, process improvement implementation.
